After 20+ years in the corporate world, John found himself at a crossroads, so he decided to head to New York City to do stand-up comedy… and the results have been epic. Life as a single dad, teaching, dating and running a global event company, all provide for a “self concept” that is nothing shy of amusing.
John’s comedic style rides on the edge of clean; he is concise and audience-involved. His material plays to his life and personality – touching on work, fatherhood, relationships and event-specific topics developed for individual show.
In his corporate life, John ran (and still owns) Automotive Events, Inc., a global event-management agency which produces product launches, training, PR and safety technology studies for clients ranging from Audi to Volvo.
John teaches art of “Comedy in the Workplace, as an effective communication tool,” and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal as an expert in appropriate workplace humor.
